Johnny and Marge Ketelsen started the business in 1962 in Marion, Iowa and grew the business by providing exceptional value and service to their customers. And after more than half-a-century, the tradition continues!

Business was "busting at the seams", so in 2005, Gary Ketelsen moved the business across the metro to a new location along Interstate 380 on the north edge of Cedar Rapids in Hiawatha, Iowa. To better serve the customer, the new facility features hard-surface sales and service lots, easy customer parking, and huge inside sales, parts and accessories showrooms.

In 2010 the Ketelsen Family was honored to be selected by RV Business Magazine as one of "100 Most Influential People in RV History".

The ribbon was officially cut in March of 2017 to open our state-of-the art facility in Central Iowa. Ketelsen RV De Soto serves central and western Iowa with the same top-notch service and attention to detail you've come to trust for over 55 years!
