Qualifying 6 horses for the 2023 Breeders Challenge Finals, barrel racer and trainer, DaCota Ray Monk won the Futurity Finals aboard 4-year-old mare,
TNR Wannaseemycancan (Eddie Stinson x Chase This Ivory x Ivory James) with a time of 15.797, even with a tack malfunction! During the finale, DaCota’s name, along with the winners of each class, was entered into a drawing for a brand-new Hart Trailer and his was drawn as the winner, an item on his bucket list, according to Barrel Racing Magazine.

We recently sat down with DaCota at his training facility in Texas where we got to watch him work with some All-Star earners.

Checking Your Bearings
With your trailer on a lift, using both hands, try to move the tire back and forth.
If there is any movement, other than very slight, you will need to take your trailer to have the bearings checked. It is recommended that you have your bearings checked every 12,000 miles or once a year. Click the image below for a demonstration by Zeke Alvarez.
