Meet Madalyn - a 15 year old go-getter from Texas. Madalyn hauls her steers to shows all over Texas and beyond with her 2020 LoProXpo Hart Trailer. This extra busy Sophomore serves as 1st VP for the Scurry County 4-H club, MHBA Jr Princess and Princess, Ira FFA Student Advisor, SCLA Jr Board Member, and Class VP! Madalyn qualified for Regional UIL in Poetry, is on the A,B Honor Roll, and was in the All Star Cast for OAP. She participates in the 4-H Food Challenge, food show, and livestock judging. In FFA, she is active in radio broadcasting, public relations, Ag com, Ag skills, and livestock judging.

Madalyn’s other interests are in the One Act Play and the Scurry Stars Leaders - helping special needs kids show a livestock animal at the county show.

Her goals are to win a major show like Fort Worth or the Arizona National, to own her own show cattle operation, and to continue to win big!

Madalyn placed 3rd in her class at Fort Worth and made the sale of Champions, 7th out of 208 kids to qualify for FFA regional livestock judging, and 3rd in World Market Steer! She was Reserve Champion Showman in the World, and Reserve Champion National Market Steer.

This young lady volunteers in her community with 4-H planting plants at the courthouse, donating food, clothes, and other necessities to people in need. She coached a 4-H Food Challenge team, helped with the Angel Tree Project, helped to organize and put on a showmanship clinic for cattle, helped deliver food to the food pantry and to the elderly during the holidays (food and stockings) and helped with the back-to-school supplies drive.
